Appointments for Fingerprinting

 

30-min appointments are available:

Tuesday         8:00 am - 11:30 am & 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Wednesday   8:00 am - 11:30 am & 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm

Thursday       8:00 am - 11:30 am &  1:00 pm - 3:30 pm

Electronic submissions are now available. For billing purposes, background check applicants should provide the following information from the office/agency requesting the service:

  • Billing code
  • Agency name
  • Statute reference

Without this information, the electronic submission of fingerprints will be rejected by the Utah Bureau of Criminal Identification (BCI). Sending fingerprints electronically will expedite the background check process. Applicants will receive a hard copy of their prints whether they have their fingerprints submitted electronically or mail them directly to BCI. If the below information is not provided, we are not able to submit fingerprints electronically to BCI. If an applicant declines a hard copy of their fingerprints and only wants them submitted electronically, the price will be $10.00.


Safety Precautions

 

  • Individuals must wear a mask during the appointment
  • Guest temperatures will be checked at the door before being permitted to enter the building
  • Physical distance of at least six feet will be maintained throughout the appointment
  • Appointments will be scheduled to allow time for cleaning and sanitation between visitors

WHAT TO BRING

Valid government-issued photo id (Driver license, passport, military ID, etc.)

FEE & PAYMENT

The first card is $10; each additional card is $7 per card

We are only accepting credit cards

Parking is available in the U Police Business parking area located on the east side of the building.
